Frolicked is an outdoor puppetry theatre company based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We design, create and perform with puppets in interesting and unusual spaces and locations.

We like to unfold worlds in unexpected environments; we are inspired by and respond to our surroundings to devise our performances. The creatures that we bring to life inhabit these surroundings.

Our puppets are designed and handmade in house, and are created from sourced and often found materials. All of our puppets are inspired by the world around us and often are informed by a specific place of history and interest.

We like to play with audience expectations and reactions and drag viewers into a world of surprise and uncertainty...
